George Jegen

I started this business just over 40 years ago and I have had the pleasure of meeting many incredible people over the years. Family and community involvement have remained an important component in my life. I enjoy the relationships I have built with my clients, many of them have become friends, over the years. My two daughters have joined the firm as tax practitioners, and I look forward to our continued growth in our family business and in the community.
Teresa Leibnitz

I was raised in Martinez and attended CSU, Chico. After obtaining my Business Administration Bachelor’s degree, I settled in Pleasant Hill with my husband where we have raised our family. With over 25 years of accounting experience, I am skilled in Tax Preparation, Financial Reporting, Budgeting, Accounting, Cash Management and Payroll. I am a CTEC registered tax preparer and certified ProAdvisor in QuickBooks Online. Over the last several years, I have teamed up with my dad and have been lucky enough to work with him, my sister, Jene, and my sister-in-law, Leslie. I enjoy meeting and helping our clients with their individual and business tax filings, as well as guiding them in tax planning and savings. I enjoy watching my son play high school basketball, hiking with my dogs, camping, and spending time with my family. Each tax season, I look forward to meeting with our clients and sharing my knowledge with them.

Leslie Marquart
CPA
I started my career preparing individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns. I then expanded into accounting and financial reporting, planning, and analysis for businesses. I am a CPA, received an MBA from U.C. Berkeley, and I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Taxation.
I really appreciate the opportunity to help our clients and enjoy getting to know them. Outside of work, my husband and I love walking our dog every day, visiting our sons in Colorado and Indiana, and watching sports. We’re avid Niners, Warriors, Cal Bears, SDSU Aztecs, CSU Rams, and IU Hoosiers fans!

I have been a Bay Area local my whole life. I grew up just over 30 minutes from Martinez. I began my career in Supply Chain Management & Hospitality Services. I have specialized in the Administrative field for over 5 years. Along with my career at Jegen & Associates, I am also a Professional Wedding Photographer! I enjoy being creative, getting outdoors, and spending time with my family. I'm also a huge country music fan! When it comes to sports, you will find me cheering on the Raiders & the 49ers!
